Who are Les Terriennes?

The word “terriennes” is the French feminine of the word “terrien” which can be closely translated, “women of the Earth”. This is where Les Terriennes products come from. This small company was created in an authentic country house in the middle of a vineyard in France, where nature and animals live in complete harmony with mankind.

Les Terriennes is the result of a meeting of three women who believe that organic isn’t just a new trendy way of life but a real need.  It’s a need for the Earth, for others, for themselves. From a cosmetologist, a designer and an illustrator was born Les Terriennes.

Les Terriennes is environment friendly. Its uses recyclable packaging, non-polluting extracting procedures and is a member of the Eco-packaging program.

It respects the individual because your skin is the source of beauty and wellbeing. The Terriennes’ products are paraben free. They don’t contain any preservatives, petrochemical, GMO, synthetic fragrance or coloring. All the skincare products have been formulated with the strictest respect of the ECOCERT charter.

No raw animal materials or animal testing are used in the manufacturing process of the skincare products. Les Terriennes’ products are solely tested on volunteers.

Because every woman has her own individual nature, Les Terrinnes has conceived three original skin care ranges:

From a mother for mothers

Bionée is one of a kind cosmetics brand fully dedicated to pregnant woman, babies and health conscious mothers, created by a mother for mothers.

Coming from the South or France, Bionée has developed its products with patented ingredients. Its products come free of harmful chemical and are certified ECOCERT. Each ingredient has earned safety statement for pregnancy and baby and contains Fair Trade organic honey.

Bionée’s organic certified skin care line for pregnancy and baby is a fruit of a strong collaboration between pregnant women, moms, women scientists and doctors. Driven by the objective to develop a unique skincare line combining ingredients from around the world, they researched traditional remedies praised by women during the pregnancy and beyond.

Then, in collaboration with my female scientists and doctors in the South of France at the renowned laboratory for natural skincare, the most advanced remedies modern science offers finally came up. Passionate about organic products, Bionée’s founder and her collaborators imagined the safest but also most efficient and pleasing formulations that women need during this precious time of pregnancy and motherhood and finally for their babies. 
                      
Finally, from a combination of those two worlds, Bionée was born. 

The Lotus Flower

Bionée has chosen the Lotus flower as the symbol of the brand as having a baby is like the blossoming of a lotus flower, a symbol of purity, fertility and creation in many cultures all over the world. Its modest beginnings as a delicate blushing bud unveil the essence of conception, a sign of innocence and promise. 

As the lotus continues to grow, the beauty of its soft petals reflect the purity of bearing one’s child. Aspiring towards the golden sun, the lotus finally blossoms into an exquisite flower, reflecting the joy of motherhood – the zenith of a woman’s existence.

At the confluence of the French Excellence in luxury cosmetics and the oriental beauty know-how, Kaé proposes 100% natural high quality skincare and hair care. Kaé created the Argatherapy, a holistic skincare and hair care that associate the exceptional argan oil properties along with aromatic essential oils powers. ECOCERT contributes and promotes organic farming by working with international institutions to support project development. By winning the confidence of the consumers, ECOCERT has become a benchmark in organic certification world wild.

Faithful to its convictions and consistent with its commitment to organic farming, ECOCERT has opted to put its technical expertise to use in supporting the environment, developing its own specifications for the inspection and certification of products, systems and services. By defining strict requirements that meet consumer expectations, ECOCERT Group encourages economic stakeholders to adopt responsible practices.

Accreditation and approval

Certification is subject to supervision. Certification bodies are themselves audited by the relevant authorities and bodies, as part of the approval and accreditation process. In France, the French Accreditation Committee (Cofrac) is the designated body for the accreditation of certification bodies according to the EN 45011 standard, which requires independence, competence and impartiality. ECOCERT takes all the measures necessary to meet these requirements and ensure the reliability of its decisions.
